I have been wanting to crochet a jar cozy for a while now. I have been looking at photos to get some inspiration and I came up with a very simple one using double crochets, ch-5 spaces and back loop single crochets. Give my pattern a try a share photos ♥♥♥.

The pattern below is for the shorter jar. With the same pattern but more rounds you can make one for the bigger jars. All you need is scissors, size 1.55 needle, light cotton yarn.
Round 1. Start by making a magic ring, ch 3 and make 12 double crochets in to the magic ring. Close by slip stitch to 3rd ch of first post.
Round 2. Chain 3, make 2 DC in each st. Sl st (24)
Round 3. Chain 3, 2 DC in next st, 1 DC in next and repeat this sequence around finishing with 49 dc at the end of the round.
Round 4. Ch 3, 1 DC all around (49 dc)
Round 5. Ch 3, BLO DC around.
Round 6-8. for these rounds only repeat Round 4.
Round 9. Ch 1, sc in same st, * ch 5, skip 3 sts, sc in next * repeat this sequence until the end of the round.
Round 10-14. Repeat round 9
Round 11. Ch 1, sc in same, *5 sc in ch-5 space, 1 sc in sc* all around.
Round 12-14. BLO sc around (Mine finished with having 49 sc but numbers don't matter much). finish with invisible join.
