I use this pattern and create such beautiful bedroom sets and tableclothes. I love this motif square because it is not tiny like all the other lace motifs. I use light fingering yarn and size 1.5 mm hook for these projects.
This pattern is originally shared as christmas bauble but in my language classes I use them as a helpful medium to motivate students and make the lessons more fun. I crocheted them and filled them with beans.
Maiya is made with sock weight yarn and 2.5 mm hook and is 5.5 inches tall. It’s a quick and easy stash busting project. If you are familiar with basic stitches like sc, hdc and dc, know how to increase and decrease and to work in front/back loops, you’re set to go.
