– Ears (make 2): With black: R1: MR, 3sc, 3dc, 3tr, 3d, into ring, sl st to first. Break off, weave in ends. With grey yarn: R1: same as black. Place the black on top of the grey, continue with grey yarn and crochet together like this; R2: 5sc, 2hdc in next, (dc, tr, dc) in next, 2hdc, 5sc, sl st to first. (for a simpler version just skip the black)
– Hood: With grey – R1: 6sc in MR

Break off, leave a little tail for attaching hood later.
– Head: With white– R1: 6sc in MR
