MaterialsLight fingering yarn in greeni, black and red
size 2.0 hook,
Needle
Green yarn💚
Foundation:
leave a long tail (because you will be crocheting with this later on) then ch 6 and sl wst to first ch to make a ring.
Rnd 1: ch 3,and dc in ring ch 1, (dc2tog, ch 1) 11 more times, sl st to first set of dc. (12 dc2tog)
Red yarn💖
Attach red yarn to any ch-1 sp
Rnd 2: ch 3 (counts as first dc), 2 dc in same space, (3-dc cluster) 11 more times, sl st on top of the beg ch-3 to join. Now there are 6 clusters on each side (12 clusters)
Rnd 3: sl st next 3 sts to get between the clusters. Ch 3 and make your first cluster (3 dc in same st) by making 2 more dc in same st. Make next cluster in next sp between clusters and repeat this for 3 more times, skip one sp and make clusters 5 more times. skip one space and sl st to beg ch-3. Now there are 5 clusters on each side.(10 clusters)
In following rounds decreases will be made the same way. Round 2 had 12 clusters, decreased 2 times on round 3 to have 10 clusters, therefore the shape started folding. In round 4, there will be 8 clusters.
Rnd 4: sl st until the first space between clusters. ch 3, dc 2 in same sp, in next sp make 1 cluster (3 dc in same st), and repeat making clusters until you have 4 on each side.
Rnd 5: sl st until the first space between clusters. ch 3, dc 2 in same sp, in next sp make 1 cluster (3 dc in same st), and repeat one more time so you have 3 on each side.
Round 6: sl st until the first space between clusters. ch 3, dc 2 in same sp, in next sp make 1 cluster, sk sp and make 1 cluster in each of next 2 sp. sk sp and sl st to top of beg ch-3
Round 7: sl st in each st until the sp between 2 cluster stitches. Ch 3, make 2 dc in same st, sk sp, make 1 cluster in sp, sk sp, sl st to join, ch 2 and cut off yarn.
Hide your red tail.
Come back to beginning to your green yarn, ch 10 and sl st to the dc right across to form a tiny handle. Hide your tail.
Black yarn ♥
Put your black yarn through the needle and embroider black seeds on your strawberry.
