I found this crochet pattern in a book named "Blings&Things for Dogs". I noticed how much it suits the lily winter pet sweater. I just had to write and share it. It's on page 6 in the book. Hope you enjoy it.
Weave in ends as work progresses. Join rounds with a slip stitch unless otherwise stated. Chain-3 at beginning of rounds counts as first double crochet unless otherwise stated.
Instructions Ruffle
Make 2
rnd 1 (rs): Ch 6, sc in 2nd ch from hook, sc in each of next 3 chs, 3 sc in next ch, working in unused lps on opposite side of starting ch, sc in each of next 4 lps, 2 sc in last lp, do not join. (13 sc)
rnd 2: Sc in each of next 5 sc, 3 sc in next sc, sc in each of next 5 sc, 3 sc in next sc, join (see Pattern Notes) in next sc. (16 sc)
rnd 3: Ch 3 (see Pattern Notes), 3 dc in same sc, 4 dc in each sc around, join, in 3rd ch of beg ch-3. (64 dc)
rnd 4: Ch 3, dc in same ch as joining, 2 dc in each dc around, join in 3rd ch of beg ch-3. Fasten off. (128 dc)
Finishing Glue 1 jewel to center of each Ruffle.
Sew clip to back of each Ruffle.
