HEADBAND COVER
Chain as much as you need for your head band. Stitch number doesnt matter as long as you end with a hdc on the 1st row.
In my Project I chained 71,
With green color yarn
R 1 sc in the 2nd chain from the hook, hdc in next, sc in next and repeat all the way to the end.
R 2 CH 1 turn sc in the same st, hdc on the sc from the previous round. Repeat the pattern from R 1.
R 3-4 repeat R 2.
Sew the cover on the headband.
I assembled all the parts after sewing the headband cover on to the headband but you can do this as the last step also. Whatever you feel comfortable with…
Flowers
1. Star shaped flower (all white one in the photo)
Foundation ring: ch 4, sl st to 1st ch to make a circle.
Rnd 1: ch 1, *ch 8, sc in ring, repeat from * 4 times. cH 8, SL ST TO 1ST CH.
Rnd 2: *ch 4, dc in top of the ch 8 sp. ch 3 and sl st in 3rd ch from hook. dc in same ch 8 sp. ch 4 ** sl st in sc. Repeat from * 4 times and from * to ** one more. sl st in sl st to join, fasten off. weave in all ends.
2. Chamomile flower
you need a yellow color for the center and white for the petals.
with yellow color ch 4 and sl st to 1st ch to form a ring.
Rnd 1: ch 1, 7 sc in ring, join with a sl st in 1st ch.
Rnd 2: ch 1, sc in same st. 2 sc in each of remaining sc. Join with sl st using white yarn.
Rnd 3: *ch 5 and sl st in 1 sc. repat from * 14 times ch 5, sl st and fasten off.
3. Alyssum flower
You need any 2 colors of your desire.
Foundation ring: ch 5 and sl st to 1st st.
Rnd 1: ch 1, 7 sc into the ring, change color and sl st to 1st ch.
Rnd 2: *ch 6. sl st in 2 sc. repeat from * twice. ch 6. sl st in 1 sc and in sl st.
Rnd 3: *(2 sc, 2 hdc, ch 1, 2 hdc, 2 sc) in next ch 6 space. Skip 1 sl st and sl st in next. Repeat from * 3 more times and fasten off.
4. Simple Flower
you need a yellow color for the center and pink for the petals.
Ch 5 and sl st to 1st ch to form a ring.
Rnd 1: ch 2, 9 hdc into the ring. change color and sl st in 2nd ch of the bed ch 2.
Rnd 2:* in 1 hdc make (sl st, ch 2, 2 dc, ch 1, 2 dc, ch 2, sl st). ** sl st in one hdc. Repeat from * 3 more times and from * to ** one more. sl st in sl st. Fasten off.
5. Penta Flower
In a color of your desire
Ch 5 and sl st to 1st ch to form a ring
Rnd 1: ch 1, 9 sc into the ring. Sl st to 1st sc.
Rnd 2: ch 1. *(sc, ch 6, sc) in 1 sc. **sc in 1 sc. repeat from * 3 times and from * to ** once more. join with a sl st.
Rnd 3: *(4 sc, ch 2, 4 sc) in next ch 6 sp. **skip 1 sc, and sl st in 1 sc. Repeat from * 3 times, and from * to **once more. Skip 1 sc and join with a sl st. fasten off.
6. Phlox Flower
With purple yarn.
Rnd 1: ch 1, 9 sc into the ring. join with a sl st.
Rnd 2: *(sl st, ch 3, 3 tr, ch 3, sl st) in 1 sc. ** sl st in 1 sc. Repeat from * 3 times and from * to ** one more time. Sl st in sl st and fasten off.
7. Hellebore flower
(this is the big flower right in the middle, with yellow center, light pink petals and fuschia border in the photo)
ch 4 and sl st to 1st ch to form a ring.
Rnd 1: ch1. 9 sc in ring. Join with a sl st to 1 ch.
Rnd 2:ch 1, sc in same st as last sl st. 2 sc in each of the 9 sc. Change color to join with a sl st.
Rnd 3: *ch 3, (tr, dtr) in 1 sc. (dtr,tr) in 1 sc. ch 3 ** sl st in 2 sc. Repeat from * 3 times and from * to ** once more. join with a sl st.
Rnd 4: change color. *ch 4. skip ch 3 space, sc in tr. (hdc, dc) in 1 dtr. ch 2. ( dc, hdc) in 1 dtr. sc in tr. ch 4. skip ch-3 space and skip 1 sl st. sl st in next sl st. repeat from * 4 times.
Rnd 5: *3 sc in ch-4 space. sc in sc, in hdc,in dc also. (2 sc, ch 1, 2 sc) in ch-2 point. sc in dc, in hdci and in sc. 3 sc in ch 4 space. sl st in sl st. repeat from * 4 times. fasten off. weave in all ends.
