These kids gloves fit through ages 2-5. They are made using single crochets.

Starting with the cuff
With pink color baby soft yarn.
Foundation chain: Chain 27 and sl st to first ch to form a circle.
Rnd 1: ch 1, sc in same st, sc 26 around.sl st to close.
Rnd 2-7: ch 1, sc in same st, sc 26 around.sl st to close.
Using the white color baby soft yarn attach to one end of the cuff.
Rnd 8-18: ch 1, sc in same st, sc 26 around.sl st to close.
Thumb opening:
Rnd 19: ch 1, 1 sc in first st, sc in next 7 sts, 2 sc in next st, sc in each st around, join (27 sts)
The rest of the pattern is for the 4 fingers left, other than the thumb. So here ch 1, sc around, when you come to the stitch to make an opening for the thumb skip next 9 sts, sc in next st and each st around, join (18 sts)
Embroider with a tapestry needle.
Use the pattern as is, or use it as a base for your own creations, your imagination is the limit.
You can increase or decrease the number of rows and make it shorter or longer as desired.
You could increase or decrease the number of base chain stitches to make it as small or wide as desired.
