Item shown made with size H/8/5mm crochet hook and Bernat Satin medium (worsted) weight yarn. Pattern is worked in multiples of 12 plus  17 chains. Chain-3 at beginning of row counts as first double crochet unless otherwise stated.



Instructions:

Row 1 (WS): Dc in 4th ch from hook (first 3 chs count as first dc), dc in each of next 2 chs, *ch 4, sk next 2 chs, sc in next ch, ch 5, sk next 3 chs, sc in next ch, ch 4**, dc in each of next 5 chs, rep from * across, ending last rep at **, dc in each of last 4 chs, turn.

Row 2 (RS): Ch 3 (see Pattern Notes), dc in each of next 3 dc, *ch 1, 9 tr in next ch-5 sp, ch 1**, dc in each of next 5 dc, rep from * across, ending last rep at **, dc in each of last 4 dc, turn.

Row 3: Ch 3, dc in each of next 3 dc, *ch 3, sc in next tr, [ch 3, sk next tr, sc in next tr] 4 times, ch 3**, dc in each of next 5 dc, rep from * across, ending last rep at **, dc in each of last 4 dc, turn.

Row 4: Ch 3, dc in each of next 3 dc, *ch 4, sk next ch-3 sp, sc in next ch-3 sp, [ch 3, sc in next ch-3 sp] 3 times, ch 3**, dc in each of next 5 dc, rep from * across, ending last rep at **, dc in each of last 4 dc, turn.
